Prepare a Sauce
By Maggie-May
PREPARE A SAUCE.....
Some sauces are meant for places anywhere besides the kitchen
Other sauces now translated into ointments or creams made for when the skin is itchin
There are those that would prefer to be anywhere else in the world and grumble when having to be in a kitchen cooking, just downright _ _ _ching
Prepare a sauce for all who dare defy
Make it heavenly and add it to the inner crust of a pie
There are some sauces that are far better than others and the ones I will list will make those who try feel like they will have died and gone to heaven but whatever you do don’t you dare cry
Herbs, and spices were long ago used in remedies to cure an ailment
They were used in soaps, perfumes, and many a drink when allowed years to ferment
Gravies, dips, and Italian sauces are my most favourite kinds, but there’s also nothing better than being seated down for dinner with a companion savouring the assortment of flavours with each and every moment
Cream of mushroom soup can easily be turned into a great tasting sauce to add to boneless skinless chicken breasts by mere adding ½ a cup of real butter and one whole minced garlic clove
A cube of chicken broth, one cup of water with two tablespoons of flour when mixed and added to frying chicken legs or thighs adds a wonderful gravy and served on rice will make many think you went through a lot of trouble/hard work to make such a fancy looking plate
Garlic cloves chopped finely, sour cream, coffee cream, and fresh ground peppercorns simmered together over low heat with a teaspoon of sherry and cornstarch when thickened adds such a beautiful white looking and tasty sauce to any shrimp, lobster or deep sea scallop
Mushrooms, onions, garlic, and always freshly ground peppercorns will never steer you wrong in the kitchen when wanting to add together flavours that will always work
The kitchen and I, something great always results, so when I’m feeling saucy I always should make something like my mean and lean Italian sauces...
Marsala sauce is like no other when added to chicken
Sloppy Joe sauce to ground beef is a delight when nacho chips are added to this dip
When feeding many pasta is the way to go....with so many sauces that come and go

Being honest M-M a good sauce is not so easy to make as I know. As it sounds to me you are quite proficient in the art of sauce making. But for we hubble underlings it's not so easy. But I have found the ultimate answer --- "My Wife" --- enough said. lol

Great recipe ideas! Well, for sauces anyway. : ) Up and awesome, plus bookmarked.
I helped my son make an Alfredo sauce last night to take to his work! We made it garlicy, but not too much and added some basil...It turned out great and it was nice to do something together
Thanks! I think folks who are fearful of cooking need to realize -- you learn a few sauces . . . and you are a cook! Ha!
(shygirl2),(Fossillady), and (Truckstop Sally)....The truth behind this Hub, ... I was feeling really saucy that day, and writing the Hub helped get the sauciness out of me.... I do love to cook, except, I never have enough time to make all the wonderful dishes I love. It's a real pleasure to cook for and with the people we adore!!! Once, here on Hub pages I even made a spagetti sauce with A.A. Zavala somewhere in Massachusettes. Thanks for reading and cmmenting!

......well you are the 'poetic' spice in my sauce and my taste buds recognize only you as my favorite (literary) flavor ......

These are great tips Maggie. As a matter of fact onions are garlic, you can't go wrong. I love the sauce you suggested for the shrimp, have to try it!
Hi (Cardisa), I can't wait to have more time to try the recipes you have to, thanks so much, that sauce is absolutely one of my favorites,
Have a good day,
